Whether performing new or familiar works for cello, bringing communities together to explore culture’s role in society, or engaging unexpected musical forms, he strives to foster connections that stimulate the imagination and reinforce our humanity. In celebration of the Performing Arts Center’s 30th anniversary, the 19-time Grammy Award winner makes a highly anticipated return to Athens for a solo recital of music selected from his vast repertoire.
