Performances for Young People
The 2026-27 Performances for Young People series will be announced on July 15. Reservations begin August 5.
This program exposes K-12 students to the arts at culturally enriching performances on the campus of the University of Georgia and in the city of Athens. We hope to inspire the next generation of performing artists and arts supporters!
How to Order Tickets
Admission is $6 each for students and adult chaperones. Everyone must have a paid ticket/reservation to attend. Students must be at least six years old to attend (unless noted for specific events). Parents, guardians, and teachers should exercise personal judgement when determining if programs are appropriate for their children and students. View the attendance and ticketing policies here.
Large School Groups: School groups should submit the order form to our outreach coordinator. (The order form will be added to this page on July 15.)
Home School Students: New for the 2026-27 season, all home school tickets will be sold online only beginning at 10:00 am on August 5 (service fees will not be charged). Tickets will not be sold in person at the box office or by telephone. Limit six tickets per event per household. Tickets generally go quickly, and performances often sell out soon after going on sale. Mobile tickets will be sent to purchasers via email and will be scanned at the doors for entry to the performances. On the day of the event, tickets are only guaranteed until 10 minutes before the performance begins, at which point they will be released to the standby line.
Questions can be directed to the outreach coordinator at PACoutreach@uga.edu or call (706) 542-2634.
