The world famous Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Chorus return to Hodgson Concert Hall with vocal soloists and the powerful sounds of Handel’s Messiah. Director of Choruses Norman Mackenzie takes center stage in this presentation of the Christmas portion of Handel’s most enduring oratorio, followed by the glorious “Hallelujah Chorus.” Mozart’s popular Mass in C Major, K 317, composed in 1779 for the Salzburg court, opens the performance.
