This is part of a recurring series of articles about the people who support the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center.
Meet Anna G. Jones, senior vice president and marketing officer of the Elberton-based Pinnacle Bank, and D. Scott Wilson, the bank’s chief financial officer and executive vice president. The bank, which has branches throughout Northeast Georgia, helps fund the Piedmont Athens Regional Performances for Young People series.
“Pinnacle Bank is honored to support performances at UGA’s Performing Arts Center. As a community bank, we believe a community thrives when it is well-rounded. An area flourishes when it provides access to education, arts, faith, recreation and caring for one another. The arts opportunity is certainly reinforced by the Performing Arts Center.
“It serves not only Athens but a regional area, offering performances by world class musicians. Not all communities have the chance to see and hear such talented individuals and groups. But we are fortunate to live in a place where arts opportunities abound.
“Because of the Performing Arts Center, audiences are moved, delighted, inspired and encouraged. To be a small part of providing that experience is a privilege and it’s why Pinnacle Bank gives to the UGA Performing Arts Center.”
