“Twenty years, ten albums, tours around the world, awards and nominations at home and rave reviews abroad: Frigg can justly be described as one of the greatest success stories in Finnish folk music.”—Finnish Music Quarterly

One of Finland’s hottest musical exports and true masters of the Finnish folk tradition, this sizzling sextet has garnered acclaim for its heart-bursting, life-affirming feel-good tunes and immaculate musicianship. The ensemble takes its name from the Norse goddess of love and fertility and has been credited with creating its own captivating style of music — Nordgrass — fusing Nordic folk and American bluegrass. This UGA Presents debut promises to be nothing short of wonderful!
