William Jackson Payne Memorial Concert
Free admission (tickets required)

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet has inspired some of the most passionate and unforgettable music ever written. In this dynamic collaboration, chamber music powerhouses Boston Brass and Turtle Island String Quartet join forces to present bold new interpretations that trace the story’s sweeping romance and heartbreaking tragedy through music. The program features works by Kabalevsky, Prokofiev, and Elvis Costello—culminating in a thrilling performance of Leonard Bernstein’s iconic West Side Story suite.
