August 12, 2021

The Performing Arts Center is pleased to offer discounted tickets to UGA faculty and staff for the 2021-22 UGA Presents season in a special sale running Monday, Aug. 16 to Friday, Aug. 20, before single tickets go on sale Aug. 23. University employees may use the 10% discount code UGAP10 online here, at the box office in the Performing Arts Center lobby (10 a.m.-5 p.m.), or by calling (706) 542-4400.

“We want to make sure that faculty and staff take advantage of the resource that is the Performing Arts Center,” Performing Arts Center Director Jeffrey Martin said. “This is a program we started a few years ago to encourage them to join us here. As we celebrate our anniversary, we feel we have a lineup of artists our discerning colleagues will love to see.”

Notable performances in the coming season include Bluegrass & Christmas by Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder (Dec. 21) and Seven Things I’ve Learned: An Evening with Ira Glass (Mar. 19), with the host, creator and producer of This American Life. The 25th anniversary gala performance (Apr. 24) features six-time Tony Award-winning Broadway, television and film star Audra McDonald.
