Due to the backlog currently impacting the U.S. immigration system because of the pandemic, it has become clear that the members of Trio Con Brio Copenhagen will be unable to secure the necessary travel visas in time to come to the United States this fall for their upcoming tour.  Because of this, the ensemble’s performance has been rescheduled for March 14, 2022. Those who purchased tickets to this performance in a season ticket package will receive tickets in August reflecting the new date. Please contact the box office with any questions or concerns.

Acknowledged as one of the finest piano trios in the world, Trio con Brio Copenhagen was born out of an idea of the coming together of musical pairs: two Korean-born sisters, cellist Soo-Kyung Hong and violinist Soo-Jin Hong, with Soo-Kyung and her husband, Danish pianist Jens Elvekjaer. The ensemble has gained a reputation for a fresh and contemporary approach to the core repertoire and has won virtually all of the major competitions for piano trio. The group’s first appearance in Athens promises to be a thrilling evening of music featuring in which the players’ virtuosity, artistry, and verve will be on full display.
