Lowell Liebermann x Ludwig presents an American living legend alongside one of his muses, Ludwig van Beethovan.  CMA 2020 composer-in-residence Lowell Liebermann is one of America’s most performed living composers and winner of the Charles Ives Fellowship.  The Yargo Trio will present the world premiere of a new work by Liebermann commissioned by Louis and Susan Meisel.  Acclaimed prodigy violinisht Chad Hoopes joins UGA faculty and members of the Grammy Award winning Parker Quartet in Liebermann’s Chamber Concerto.  The Parker Quartet concludes the program with a performance of Beethoven’s unforgettable late String Quartet in A minor, Op. 132.

There is a special pre-concert Q&A session with Lowell Liebermann at 2pm in Ramsey Concert Hall.  This Q&A is available to all patrons who purchased a ticket to this event at no additional charge.
