Calidore String Quartet

Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center
Front Row: National
Artist Series: Calidore String Quartet

This exciting young ensemble has been praised by the New York Times for its “deep reserves of virtuosity and irrepressible dramatic instinct” and by the Los Angeles Times for its balance of “intellect and expression.” These qualities shine brightly throughout their performances of works by Mendelssohn and Dvorák. They are joined on the latter by Georgia native and rising-star double bassist, Xavier Foley.
