Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

February 24, 2019 | 3:00 pm

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Music Director Robert Spano starts the afternoon on a natural high with a piece so radiant in its majesty, someone named it for the king of the gods: Mozart’s “Jupiter” Symphony. The maestro then welcomes the internationally acclaimed ASO Chorus to the stage for a performance of music by a composer who truly holds the keys to the human heart–the great Italian opera composer Giuseppe Verdi’s exquisitely inspirational Four Sacred Pieces.

Pre-performance talk in Ramsey Concert Hall at 2:15 p.m. (free admission).
