Talich Quartet

Founded in 1964, the Talich Quartet has been acclaimed for many years as one of the world's finest string quartets and represents Czech musical art throughout Europe, the Americas, and the Far East. In addition to live performances, the quartet's recordings of the complete quartets of Mozart and Beethoven have received numerous international prizes.

ARCO Chamber Orchestra

The ARCO Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1990 by violinist Levon Ambartsumian at Moscow's Tchaikovsky Conservatory. When Ambartsumian joined the faculty of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, he brought the orchestra with him. ARCO performances are now a University of Georgia tradition.
