Vienna has likely produced more great music than any other city in the world, but Hollywood’s movie industry has also generated a high level of creative composing. From Vienna, the two Fantasies by Schubert are a stunning tribute to his everlasting genius. Hollywood’s Erich Wolfgang Korngold wrote the stirring piano quartet that rounds out the program.
