Renowned for fresh, brilliant interpretations, The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields is one of the world’s premier chamber orchestras, and with more than 500 recordings, it is one of the most recorded. The Academy is joined by the brilliant pianist Inon Barnatan who was recently named the first Artist-in-Association for the New York Philharmonic. The program features two Mozart works, the Piano Concerto No. 9, K. 271, and Symphony No. 29, K. 186, along with the Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 1 and Aaron Copland's Quiet City.
